The Gabon Black History Arts Festival is an annual event (Feb 1st - 28th each year) that celebrates and showcases the rich cultural heritage and artistic expressions of the Gabonese people, with a particular focus on Black history. The festival aims to promote African art, drama arts, music, dance, literature, choreography and other forms of artistic expression, while also highlighting the contributions and achievements of Black individuals throughout history.
For four weeks, the public has the opportunity to attend a series of culturally rich events usually held at the National Museum and the French Institute of Libreville, events of rare beauty.
